Radio Technician

We are a leading radio station in Sofia and we are seeking a highly skilled Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our broadcasting equipment, ensuring the quality and consistency of our on-air sound. You will also assist in setting up and testing new equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise, and providing technical support for live broadcasts. The ideal candidate will have experience in radio broadcasting technology, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Experience:
- Previous experience in radio broadcasting technology preferred
- Knowledge of radio equipment maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with audio production software and hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Good understanding of FCC regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if needed

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair all radio broadcasting equipment
- Set up and test new equipment before use
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts
- Provide technical support for live shows as needed
- Ensure compliance with FCC regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment

Schedule:
This is a full-time position with varying shifts, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility in schedule is required to ensure 24/7 coverage for our radio station.
