Android Developer


We are hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating user-friendly and intuitive apps, has a strong understanding of the Android platform, and is familiar with current industry trends.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications on the Android platform
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
- Work closely with product managers to prioritize features and development tasks
- Constantly research and implement new technologies to improve app functionality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice-to-have:
- Experience with cross-platform mobile development (React Native, Flutter)
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript)
- Understanding of design patterns like MVP/MVVM
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso)
