Job Title: Commercial Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Oslo. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and restaurants. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet their requirements. Your responsibilities will also include managing budgets, coordinating with contractors and engineers, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, budgets, timelines, and design preferences
- Create initial concepts and present them to clients for feedback
- Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD or other design software
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure structural integrity of designs
- Work with contractors to obtain bids for materials and labor costs
- Oversee construction progress on-site to ensure designs are being followed accurately
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or changes in design plans
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenses and making adjustments when necessary
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications
