Chef de Cuisine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a renowned restaurant in the charming city of Siauliai. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. You will need to have a strong passion for food and exceptional culinary skills in order to consistently deliver high-quality dishes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that are innovative and appealing
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen
- Train and supervise a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor others
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes consistently
- Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers in English

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Siauliai, Lithuania (open to candidates from Canada)
