Barista (Seasonal)


We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team for a seasonal position in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee drinks and other beverages to our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar role and who is looking to gain experience in an international setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and allergens
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and dining area
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Anticipate customer needs and make suggestions or recommendations when needed
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the day
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Salary:
The salary for this seasonal position is $1700 per month.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the seasonal contract.

Note: This position is open to applicants of all nationalities; however, preference will be given to Indian or Pakistani candidates.
