Land Surveyor
Location: Nakuru, Kenya
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements of land and properties to create accurate maps and legal descriptions. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide data for planning and development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Analyze survey data and create detailed reports and maps
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure accuracy of survey results
- Determine boundaries, locations, elevations, and other property characteristics
- Review legal documents related to land ownership and use rights
- Maintain survey equipment and tools in good working condition
- Adhere to safety standards while conducting surveys
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software programs
- Ability to read blueprints and legal documents related to land ownership
- Excellent communication skills in English (Filipinos preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary: 1000 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)
