Indian Chef in Eldoret
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Eldoret. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food quality and safety standards. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and menus
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, controlling inventory, and monitoring equipment maintenance
- Maintain food quality and safety standards, including hygiene and sanitation practices
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and cost control measures
- Assist with creating new menu items and suggesting improvements to existing dishes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and cooking techniques
- Ability to create flavorful and visually appealing dishes while adhering to food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
