Senior Accountant


We are in need of a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Malindi. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Manage cash flow and budgeting processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in Africa or the Philippines. Accommodation may be provided for non-local candidates. Biometric passport is required for this position.
