Head Pastry Chef


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Dar Kulaib. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing pastry menus, managing the pastry team, and maintaining high-quality standards for all pastry items.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative pastry menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
- Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including baking, decorating, and presentation.
- Train and supervise the pastry team to ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that complement each other.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of pastry production.
- Manage costs by controlling portion sizes, minimizing waste, and utilizing cost-effective ingredients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into pastry production.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques and methods, including cakes, pastries, breads, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and presentations.
- Attention to detail for consistently producing visually appealing pastries.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Experience working with international cuisine is a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not required.

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
