Junior Game Developer


As a Junior Game Developer, you will be responsible for working on various aspects of game development, including programming, design, and testing. You will work closely with a team of experienced developers to create engaging and high-quality games for our company. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the development team to create new game concepts and features
- Writing code and debugging issues to ensure smooth gameplay
- Creating and implementing game mechanics, features, and systems
- Conducting thorough testing of games to identify and fix any bugs or glitches
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development
- Providing input on improving game design and user experience
- Assisting in the optimization of games for performance on various platforms

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java or Unity
- Basic understanding of game design principles
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of popular titles across different platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a salary starting at $1100 per month. Accommodation may also be provided for candidates who do not currently reside in Lisbon.
