Solar Installer Technician
As a Solar Installer Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panels and other solar energy systems. You will work under the supervision of a project manager and collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient installation of solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain solar panels, inverters, and other equipment according to specifications
- Conduct site surveys to determine appropriate placement of panels
- Ensure proper wiring and connections for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar systems
- Collaborate with project manager to plan installation projects
- Assist in training new technicians on installation procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working at heights or with electricity
- Maintain accurate records of work performed in company database
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience installing solar panels or related equipment preferred
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and basic construction techniques preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy equipment as needed
- Valid driver's license required; previous experience driving commercial vehicles a plus
Salary: 1200$ per month
Location: Porto, Portugal (visa sponsorship available)
