Indian Interpreter in Herzliya

As an Indian Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate interpretation and translation services between English and Indian languages. You will work in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and appointments to facilitate communication between parties. It is essential to have a strong command of both languages, as well as cultural sensitivity and knowledge of specific terminology. This position requires excellent listening and speaking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience in interpretation is required, along with the ability to provide accurate translations on the spot. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.

As an Indian Interpreter in Herzliya, you will be expected to:

- Provide clear and accurate interpretation between English and Indian languages in various settings
- Ensure effective communication by conveying tone, emotions, and cultural nuances accurately
- Research and become familiar with specific terminology related to the subject matter being interpreted
- Take notes and maintain a log of interpreted conversations for accuracy
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Handle confidential information with professionalism
- Remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Be available for flexible working hours including evenings and weekends if necessary

Requirements:

- Fluency in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi, Bengali, Tamil etc.)
- Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills in both languages
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of different dialects within the Indian language
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Ability to provide accurate translations on the spot with minimal errors
- Strong research skills to familiarize yourself with subject-specific terminology
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail for note-taking during interpretation sessions
