Head Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Lahore, Pakistan


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Lahore, Pakistan. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing an innovative menu featuring elevated Pakistani cuisine with a modern twist. You will oversee all aspects of the kitchen including food preparation, inventory management, and staff training and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and high-quality menu offerings that reflect the unique flavors of Pakistani cuisine
- Manage all aspects of food preparation, ensuring dishes are consistently prepared to the highest standards
- Control food costs by monitoring inventory levels and minimizing waste
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality in all dishes served
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with food safety standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Pakistani cuisine with the ability to create innovative dishes while remaining true to traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient execution during busy service periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Urdu is preferred but not required

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
