Cruise Line Operations Manager
As the Cruise Line Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of our cruise line in Doha. This includes coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth sailing and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your duties will also include monitoring budgets, managing staff, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the cruise line, including onboard activities, dining services, and excursions
- Coordinate with various departments such as housekeeping, food and beverage, and entertainment to ensure efficient operations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for passengers and crew members
- Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure financial targets are met
- Manage staff by hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns raised by guests
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote cruise packages and attract new guests
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new strategies to enhance guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial role within the cruise industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations in the maritime industry is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Must be eligible to work in Doha
Salary: $1200 per month may vary based on experience.
