Pastry Chef at a Fine Dining Restaurant in Lisbon
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Lisbon. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality desserts and pastries that will delight our guests. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong understanding of different baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory, create menus, and develop new recipes
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality desserts and pastries that meet our restaurant's standards
- Develop new pastry recipes that showcase creativity and innovation
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients, supplies, and equipment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper pastry techniques
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the pastry section in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that complement each other's dishes
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Lisbon, Portugal (open to candidates of any nationality)
