Teamlead - Technical Support (Braga, Portugal)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Teamlead to join our growing Technical Support team in Braga, Portugal. As a Teamlead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our technical support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues. You will also be responsible for managing and developing team members, setting goals and targets, and providing guidance and support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the technical support team
- Monitor team performance and ensure that all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and productivity
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills
- Set goals and targets for the team and provide regular feedback on performance
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in products or processes
- Handle escalations from customers or other departments
- Provide training to new hires on products, processes, and customer service best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working with remote teams is preferred
