We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxurious five-star resort in the beautiful city of Bansko, Bulgaria. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our resort's culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative menus that reflect the local cuisine and culture
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food production
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and promotions
- Implement strategic initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and profitability
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end resort or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, particularly Malayalee cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Creativity and innovation in menu development
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalee language skills preferred)
