Executive Chef - Culinary Mastermind in Bansko


As the Executive Chef in Bansko, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at our luxury resort. We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who can elevate our already exceptional dining experience to new heights. This is a hands-on role that requires not only exceptional culinary skills, but also strong management and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that reflect the local culture and ingredients, while also catering to the diverse tastes of our international guests
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and control costs to meet budgetary requirements
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and events, to ensure seamless coordination of food services
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Mediterranean and Bulgarian dishes preferred
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple aspects of kitchen operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high volume demands while maintaining quality standards
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Nepali is a plus)
- Valid biometric passport for international travel
