Handyman


We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, equipment and grounds. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks as needed
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems for any malfunctions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies
- Complete regular maintenance checks on buildings and equipment
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Knowledge of general repair techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license

Preferred:
- Experience working in a hotel or similar setting
- Certification in plumbing, electrical or carpentry
- Fluency in English
