Dishwasher - Indian Cuisine (Contract, Urgent)



We are in need of a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at our busy Indian restaurant in Atlanta. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and keeping the dishwashing area organized.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Clean kitchen equipment and appliances
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of garbage disposal area
- Stock and restock supplies as needed
- Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure food safety standards are met
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to keep up with demand

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with Indian cuisine and cooking tools/equipment is an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States

Salary: $1000 per week (paid on a bi-weekly basis)
Location: Atlanta, United States (candidates must be willing to commute or relocate on their own)
