Fitter Technician
Location: Los Angeles, USA


We are in need of a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and repairing various mechanical structures such as pipes, valves and fittings. Your main goal will be to ensure efficient and safe operation of these structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout of structures
- Measure, cut and shape materials to form required structure using hand or power tools
- Weld or solder components together to create a strong and secure connection
- Install various mechanical systems including pipes, valves and fittings according to specifications
- Conduct tests on completed structures to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or repair processes
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in the mechanical industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping and welding materials
- Strong knowledge of different types of pipes, valves and fittings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify problems quickly
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces if required
- Basic understanding of safety regulations in a workshop setting
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.
