Radio Technician


We are hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing radio communication equipment. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring that all equipment is up to date and functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot radio equipment to identify any technical issues
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts as needed
- Install new radio equipment as required
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed on radio equipment
- Keep up to date with new technologies in the field of radio communication
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects and tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of radio communication systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with testing tools such as multimeters and spectrum analyzers
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in another language is a plus)
- Valid driver's license (preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Nakuru, Kenya. Applicants must be willing to relocate if not already based in Nakuru.
