Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in St. Petersburg. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will also be responsible for maintaining high quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus in accordance with seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality standards and adherence to all health and safety regulations
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Create and implement cost-cutting strategies without compromising on quality
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to maintain cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving common goals
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different departments
- Knowledge of food cost control techniques is preferred
Salary: 1600$ per month
This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working in St. Petersburg or familiarity with Russian cuisine.
