Heavy Equipment Operator



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Las Vegas. As an operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes, to move materials and complete construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine project requirements
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground crew during operation
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Complete necessary paperwork for each project, including time logs and maintenance records
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines set by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in construction or landscaping industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong understanding of safety regulations regarding heavy equipment operation
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical strength to operate controls on machinery for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
