Merchandiser (Part-time) - Malindi, Kenya


We are in need of a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Malindi. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and promoted in retail stores.

Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail stores in the designated area to ensure that our products are displayed according to company standards
- Work closely with store managers to negotiate product placement and maintain good relationships
- Set up displays and promotions for new products or special sales
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the sales team regarding any shortages or excess stock
- Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer preferences and buying trends
- Keep track of competitor's products and prices in order to make strategic recommendations for our own products
- Ensure that all promotional materials are properly displayed and maintained in accordance with company guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role (preferably in the retail industry)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with market research techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to commit to part-time hours, including weekends if necessary

We offer competitive pay of 1700$ per month for this part-time position. As this is not a full-time role, accommodation is not provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for foreign candidates who meet the requirements.
