We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment to move materials, load trucks, and perform tasks such as grading and excavation
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repairs are completed
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and maintenance reports
- Monitor the condition of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator is preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read blueprints or plans to determine task requirements
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
