Mason - Construction Worker

We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Eldoret. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying and repairing brick, concrete, and other types of masonry structures. You must have previous experience working in the construction industry and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles to construct or repair walls, arches, floors, and other structures
- Measure and cut materials to required specifications
- Use hand and power tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, levels, and saws
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas
- Repair cracks or breaks in existing masonry structures
- Clean excess mortar from finished work
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Experience working with various types of masonry materials such as brick, concrete blocks, and tiles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Preference will be given to Indian nationals currently living in Eldoret. Accommodation will not be provided for this position. However, visa sponsorship can be arranged for the right candidate.
