Barista - Malayalee (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Dickirch on a contract basis. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies. Your duties will also include taking customer orders, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Barista and possess excellent customer service skills. As a Barista, your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages according to established recipes
- Taking customer orders and accurately entering them into the system
- Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions with accuracy
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work area and equipment at all times
- Ensuring that all products are presented in an attractive manner to customers
- Providing excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Following all health and safety guidelines when handling food items
- Assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is an asset)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
