Indian Courier - Contract Position in Nairobi


We are seeking a reliable and efficient Indian Courier to join our team in Nairobi on a contract basis. As a Courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages, documents, and other items to various locations within Nairobi. Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver packages and documents to designated locations within Nairobi
- Plan the most efficient route for deliveries
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of items
- Collect payments from customers when required
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Keep track of delivery records and report any issues or delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle

Requirements:
- Must hold an Indian nationality with valid work permit for Kenya (non-Kenyans can also apply)
- Prior experience as a courier or similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS devices
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Must have a valid driver's license for motorcycles and/or cars in Kenya

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1000$ per month. The salary will be paid on a monthly basis at the end of each month.

Location:
This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya. However, we welcome applications from Indians residing anywhere in Kenya as long as they are willing to relocate temporarily.

Language Requirements:
This job requires proficiency in English language. However, fluency in English is not mandatory.
