Florist Assistant


We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist Assistant to join our team in the beautiful city of Ashdod. As a Florist Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced florists to create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks including cleaning, watering plants, and prepping flowers
- Help with creating and arranging floral designs under the guidance of senior florists
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their flower selections and taking orders
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure all supplies are well-stocked
- Assist with maintaining the shop's overall appearance and cleanliness
- Participate in workshops and training sessions to improve skills and stay updated on current trends in floral design

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or education in floral design is preferred
- Passion for flowers and creativity in designing arrangements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and work with flowers that may cause allergies or irritations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ashdod (Israeli citizenship or valid work visa)
- Ability to speak English fluently is preferred

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.
