Carpenter


We are a construction company based in Almada and we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from building new structures to repairing existing ones.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints and building plans to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures
- Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical plans
- Good understanding of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position. In addition to the base salary, we also provide benefits such as free visa sponsorship, flight ticket reimbursement once a year, and health insurance coverage.

Location:
