English Teacher
The Al-Khor School is seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering engaging lessons, and evaluating student progress. You will also participate in extracurricular activities and communicate with parents regarding their child's academic performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the English language and education, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
- Evaluate student progress through assessments and assignments
- Communicate with parents regarding student performance
- Participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs or events
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Native or near-native proficiency in the English language
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English to students of various levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and working with children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching ESL or EFL students
- Experience with using technology in the classroom
- Fluency in Malayalam language is a plus
