Data Analyst (Funchal, Portugal)


As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to identify business needs, design data collection methods, and develop reports and visualizations to present findings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Develop reports and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau or Power BI
- Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in SQL, database management systems (e.g. MySQL), Excel or other data analysis tools
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (R is preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into easily understandable insights
