Typesetter for Student Publications

As a typesetter for student publications in Funchal, you will be responsible for formatting and typesetting various materials such as articles, newsletters, and magazines. You must have a keen eye for detail and be proficient in using design and typesetting software. You will work closely with the editorial team to ensure that all published materials are visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Use design and typesetting software to format articles, newsletters, and magazines
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure all materials meet quality standards
- Proofread materials for errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ensure consistency in design and formatting across all publications
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:
- Previous experience in typesetting or graphic design preferred
- Proficient in design and typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the editorial team
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Funchal (remote work may be possible)
