Caregiver for Elderly in Bungoma, Kenya


We are in need of a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide care and assistance to elderly individuals in Bungoma, Kenya. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our elderly clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation and household chores
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and any observations or incidents
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare providers, and other caregivers
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus)
- Physically able to perform caregiving duties such as lifting, bending, and assisting with mobility
- Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Indian nationality preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this part-time position. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
