Senior Java Developer


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Alta, Norway. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications for our clients. Your role will also involve working closely with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of projects and providing technical guidance and support to junior developers. This is an urgent job opportunity with a competitive salary of $1100 per month. We offer free visa processing and a ticket to Alta for the right candidate. Please note that accommodation is not included in this position.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging Java applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developers
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in Java development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Java Developer
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its core libraries
- Proficient in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks like Angular or React
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps principles
- Familiarity with microservices architecture

Location:
This position is based in Alta, Norway. However, we are open to considering remote candidates from other parts of Norway or Europe.
