Collector/Debt Recovery Agent


We are a reputable debt collection agency, located in Zagreb, seeking a highly motivated and determined Collector/Debt Recovery Agent to join our team. As a Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. Responsibilities:
- Contact individuals and businesses via phone, email or letters to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Update customer records and maintain accurate documentation of all communication with debtors
- Investigate and resolve any disputes or discrepancies in payments
- Work closely with legal teams to escalate more complex cases
- Adhere to all regulations and guidelines related to debt collection practices

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in finance or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in debt collection or customer service is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software programs

Salary: $1200 per month

Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week. This is a contract position with potential for permanent employment based on performance.
