A typesetter is responsible for preparing and arranging text and images for printing or digital publication. They work closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure that the final product is visually appealing and error-free. As a typesetter, you will need to have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong knowledge of design principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive text and images from editors and designers
- Use specialized software to format text, adjust font sizes, and arrange images
- Proofread content for spelling and grammar errors
- Ensure consistency in font styles and formatting throughout the document
- Communicate with editors and designers to clarify any unclear instructions or requests
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in graphic design or related field is a plus
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent grasp of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in order to collaborate effectively with others

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
