Junior Librarian

We are hiring a Junior Librarian to support our library operations in Funchal. This is a full-time position suitable for men with a biometric passport. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with cataloging, shelving, and maintaining library materials. You will also provide customer service to library patrons, including assisting with reference requests and helping them locate materials.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone without prior experience but with a strong interest in books and learning, as well as excellent organizational skills. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have good attention to detail, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloging and organizing library materials
- Shelve books and other materials in designated locations
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the library
- Provide friendly customer service to library patrons
- Assist with reference requests and help patrons find materials
- Participate in planning and executing library events and programs

Requirements:
