We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our growing team in Atlanta. As a DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security and performance. You will also be involved in database design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases according to business needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure the security of all databases by implementing appropriate access controls and backups
- Develop data retrieval and reporting processes for various business purposes
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with databases
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and database management tools such as Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Good understanding of database design principles and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Certification in database administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
