Database Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's database systems in Herning, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and a deep understanding of SQL. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, performance, and availability of our databases while also troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement database policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database related issues in a timely manner
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and data recovery procedures
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement new databases or modifications to existing ones
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology to continuously improve our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL with knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Herning, Denmark. Candidates must be eligible to work in Denmark without sponsorship.
