Experienced Formworker in Faroe Islands

As an experienced Formworker in Faroe Islands, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete forms for various construction projects. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, setting up formwork according to blueprints, pouring and leveling concrete, and removing forms after the concrete has set.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Formworker and a strong understanding of construction methods and safety procedures. You should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions
- Assemble formwork according to blueprints or verbal instructions
- Install reinforcement bars or mesh if needed
- Pour concrete into formwork and use hand tools to smooth it out
- Ensure proper curing of concrete by covering with plastic sheets or water sprinklers
- Remove forms once the concrete has set, clean them, and prepare for reuse
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker
- Strong understanding of construction methods and safety procedures
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read blueprints is preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday. Please note that accommodation is not provided.
