Seasonal Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Hawalli, Kuwait. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and menu development. Your creativity and passion for food will be reflected in the dishes you create, while also ensuring high quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that align with seasonal produce and local ingredients
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure fresh ingredients are always available
- Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create new recipes while also incorporating guest feedback into menu updates
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop promotions or special event menus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Pakistani or African dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Fluent English communication skills required
This is a seasonal position with a salary of $900 per month. Candidates must have their own visa for employment in Kuwait.
