Foundry Worker

We are in need of a skilled Foundry Worker to join our team in Nakuru. As a Foundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various foundry equipment to produce metal castings according to specific design and quality standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment such as furnaces, ladles, crucibles, and pouring devices
- Melt metals and pour molten metal into molds according to work orders and specifications
- Monitor the temperature, flow, and composition of molten metal to ensure proper casting
- Remove finished castings from molds and clean them using various tools and techniques
- Inspect castings for defects or imperfections, perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain records of production quantities and quality control data
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a foundry or similar manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints, follow instructions, and use measuring tools accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru (visa sponsorship available)
