Facade Designer
As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing high-quality facades for various projects in Karachi. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce innovative and efficient designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed facade designs using AutoCAD or other design software.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that designs are feasible and aligned with project goals.
- Create 3D models and renderings of proposed facade designs.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and material selections for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to facade design.
- Communicate progress updates, challenges, and recommendations to project teams.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in facade design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other design software.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Good understanding of different facade materials and their properties.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from different disciplines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Karachi.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices for facades.
- Ability to create physical mock-ups of proposed designs.
