Livestock Specialist - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


We are hiring a Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and management of our livestock, ensuring their health and well-being. This role requires expertise in animal husbandry and extensive knowledge of livestock behavior and nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement strategies for the care and management of our livestock
- Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of all animals under your care
- Develop nutrition plans for different types of livestock to ensure optimal growth and productivity
- Train and supervise staff on proper animal handling techniques
- Perform regular health checks on animals, administer vaccinations and medications as needed
- Oversee breeding programs to maintain herd/flock size and genetic diversity
- Maintain records of animal health, breeding, and production data
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations at all times

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing livestock operations
- In-depth knowledge of animal husbandry practices, herd management, nutrition, breeding, and genetics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise staff effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on animal welfare
- Proficient in using farm equipment and machinery
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Fluency in Urdu or Punjabi preferred

Salary: 1500$ per month (tax-free) + accommodation + transportation.
