Accountant for Contract Position in Al Buraymi, Oman
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant for a contract position in Al Buraymi, Oman. As an Indian national, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and preparing financial reports for our company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Manage payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Keep up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accountant
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Preferred:
- Previous experience working on contract assignments or in a project-based environment
- Knowledge of Omani accounting regulations
- Fluency in Hindi or Arabic is a plus
Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1400$ per month.
