Truck Driver


We are seeking a reliable and experienced truck driver to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Load and unload cargo safely
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills in English
- Must be physically fit to load/unload cargo as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience driving trucks in Nairobi or other cities in Africa
- Fluency in Swahili or other local languages
- Experience driving larger trucks (e.g. semi-trucks)
- Accommodation arrangements already made (for non-local candidates)
