Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Ashdod. As an assistant, you will work closely with our team of surveyors to collect and analyze data related to land, construction, and engineering projects. Your main responsibilities will include setting up survey equipment, taking measurements, recording data, and creating maps and reports.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques. You should also have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the surveying team and other stakeholders. Additionally, you must be physically fit as this job may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in setting up equipment and taking measurements
- Collect data related to land boundaries, topography, construction sites, etc.
- Record data accurately using computer software or manual methods
- Create maps and reports based on collected data
- Communicate with team members to ensure project goals are met
- Help maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols at all times while on the job site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in surveying is preferred
- Basic understanding of surveying principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, GPS receivers, etc.
- Knowledge of computer software used for data collection and mapping (AutoCAD, GIS)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical fitness to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Salary: $900/month (negotiable based on experience)
