Construction Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our projects in Khasab, Canada. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing budgets, timelines, resources, and ensuring the quality of work meets industry standards. You will also be responsible for overseeing project teams and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation will be provided, along with a free visa and ticket for candidates outside of Canada. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, including timelines and budgets
- Source materials, equipment, and labor needed for construction projects
- Oversee project teams and ensure all workers follow safety protocols
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
- Monitor project expenses to ensure they stay within budget
- Ensure all work meets quality standards set by industry regulations
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Keep accurate records of project progress and expenses
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of industry regulations and building codes
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
